Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to Sri Lanka, I had the pleasure of staying at the Ella Flower Garden Resort. Nestled among stunning mountain views, it was a refreshing escape just 900 meters from the picturesque Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. The staff truly made our experience memorable, particularly Eranda, whose enthusiasm for showcasing local culture was a delightful bonus during our stay. The room was cozy with a private balcony that offered breathtaking views, perfect for unwinding after a long day. While the amenities included a great bathroom and a lovely seating area, I couldn't help but notice the potential for improvement in room provisions - perhaps a few extra towels would elevate the comfort level. The garden area was lovely, providing an excellent backdrop for relaxation. The resort's restaurant was a mixed bag; I appreciated the authentic Sri Lankan dishes, but I'd recommend exploring local dining options instead for a richer experience. The serene location and ongoing renovations hint at a promising future for Ella Flower Garden Resort. It's a beautiful base for travelers wanting to soak in the local beauty while getting a taste of the peaceful mountain life.
